Thanksgiving Day

As for Thanksgiving it was great we were all exhausted when it all done and over with. First to my mom and dad's where my mom had all 3 kids home with there spouse's. I can't remember when that happened. It was so much fun, lots of food, and then over to the Man's mom and dad where all his brother's and sister's wher there, tons of food again. But with a two major course within a 45 min period we had no holding back. I kids did but the Man and I didn't, for the fact each mom makes a favorite that we only get at Thankagiving. It made for a long day but well worth it. Seeing both of our families was just awesome. And isn't that what it's all about. We are so blessed to have family here in town. During the holidays more so I miss my dad & his 2nd half in Idaho, my mom in Oregon, my two sets of Grandparents in Idaho, and my sister's in Idaho and Arizona. I keep telling the Man one of these years we need to go Arizona and to Idaho and whereever my mom the traveling nurse lands on her feet. I did make the round of calls to them all that I could. But wheither near or far it's about family and letting them know we love and care about them deeply with all the love we can. We love our family all of them and wish we could spend every Holiday with them, but we can't we do what we can, too all of those who have family with them or far away

Black Friday

Yep, I did it I got up at 3:00am to go shopping and be at Kohls at 4:00. I met with my mother in law, my 2 sister's in law's and, one of my nieces. We did a full day of shopping I finally got home at 3:30 so 12 hrs from the time I left. We hit Kohls, which had awesome sales got some great things, then over to Sam's yep thats right Sam's got the three things I needed. Then we jumped back into the car and ran over to Target Greatland the one at 215. Can I just say MAD HOUSE, wait let me say that again MAD HOUSE. That store was so insane, that was the one place I did not have a plan for but some how manged to walk out of the store with a basket full.

They had some awesome deals, last week our DVD player broke, they had an awesome deal on a Sony player which we needed. The boys were so excited when I brought that home they think that and the slipper's they got are all the bought today. But oh they really don't know. We did the mall that parking lot was a MAD HOUSE but the store's weren't too bad. Didn't get much there, and then took a small lunch break at Salad Creations which non of my family had been there. They thought it was great, then I ran over to Costco for one thing. Yes I got in and out with the one thing I went to get. That is a first for me. I even used the new self checks. Yes for those of you haven't been to Costco they now have I think 5 Self Check out's in and out, it was so fast. Then over to crazy Walmart, but low and behold it wasn't too bad. I have to pull all the things out and start marking list's of what I bought. Oh I almost forgot the best OLD NAVY where they had everything 50% off. I was able to score there for the kids. I looked at the back of my car and thought ok I got a good start forgetting one whole bag was work clothes for me. But no biggie. I hope since last weekend to put the tree, didn't get to it last week.

Oreo Passing

All Emilee wanted was a Hamster for her birthday. So Rod and I got her that, she was the cutest little thing, at first I didn't think it was such a great idea. But I went along with Rod, he's always been right about things with our kids. Emilee called her Oreo, Rod and I called her Hami the Hamburgerler. Especially when she would get out of of her cage. Which I still to this day don't know how she was getting out. On Thursday I did my rounds and checked to make sure she was still in her cage, she seemed really tired I didn't think anything about it. That night when I went to bed she was passed away.

I waited until Emilee got home from school on Friday, I didn't want her to go to school sad and crying. Which I knew what would happen. So Friday after school I broke the news to her. She was very upset, crying and crying. She called her friend Bailey and she asked her to come and play with her and Blake. They got together, planned a sleep over to help Em not be so sad. It worked for a little bit, then she was home a little after 9pm. So she came home and went start to bed. Today we had a little funeral for her, it was very hard for her. I was very sad to see my little girl upset. We had a prayer, and everyone said something nice about her, Em petted her one last time and we placed her into the ground with a small flower. The boys helped Em and her dad cover the hole and we placed some more flowers on top. Emilee went into the house and cried and wrote in her journal, we looked through the camera for pic's of her and were able to, and she was happy. We will go look for a new one next week. But it was sad to see her hurting. But she will get through it. Her dad explained that she was already in Heaven running around giving everyone a great laugh since she was such a cutie.

Goofing Off

Today I spent the day just goofing off with the boys & then worked on my blog changing it up a little. Getting ready for the next set of pain drillings into my back on Monday. If it work's like he said it should I will be jumping for joy if not I will be ready to give up. So since I won't be able to play with the kids Monday & maybe a few days later I want to take the next few days and goof off. I will still clean my house & run a few a errands but I wanna just play. Like tomorrow will pay with boys all day and Emilee after school & then "Girls Night" with my good friends to celebrate the birth of her 3rd little boy. And it's at the Cheesecake Factory & yes I don't need it but I will be having a piece of Pumkin Cheescake my favorite. Saturday Ice Skating lesson's & then hope to get the Christmas out & have family goofing around. Then Sunday church & a blessing from my wonderful hubby who, always has the spirit around him. And then dinner & hanging out with the kids. I plan on fully goofing around the next three days.

Halloween

Well we made it another year. The kids had so much fun. Emilee was Gaberilla from High School Musical 3, Luke was a Star Wars from the Clone Wars, & Jacob was a Race Car Driver from Monaco. They had a blast all there cousin's came out and went trick r treating with us. We had dinner and dressed all the kids and headed out the door, we made it around two blocks and the boys started complaining that there buckets were to heavy. So they had plenty of candy, Luke was the heaviest according to him. and we had a great announcement Ty and Heather found out what they were having. They are having baby number three, they will be having a little girl. Now Sadie will have a buddy. Since Ashton and Jacob are buddies. Now I'm ready to set up Christmas. Maybe I can get my hubby to start getting it out this Veterans Weekend. I didn't get any pic's before trick r treating but I got some after I just need to post them. All in all the kids had a great time!!!

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3 & First Crush

There was no way I could get out of taking Emilee to see the final movie for High School Musical. It was just the two of us last night, we had so much fun. There were only about 6 people there including us. We had a blast I have to agree with Em this was the best one by far. While out on our girls night I was able to confirm my thought that we may have our first crush. Yes, said it right Emilee has her first crush she is so cute when you bring up his name. She starts smiling from ear to ear & gets all jumpy. I have to say I'm not ready for this and neither is her dad, but the boy she likes is a great kid she couldn't have done any better. He goes to school & church with us, he's got great parents who we really like. It will just have to be play dates for the next 8 yrs. But it is so cute. I'd give up the name but she would be embarassed, & I won't do that to her.

Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze

Last weekend we took the kids up to St. Geroge to the Steli Farm right outside Washington City. The kids had a blast I did take lots of pic's I will get those up soon as I can. We had so much fun the kids rode horse tire swings, real swings like when we were kids, did the petting zoo. And then we decided to do the corn maze it took us 2hours to get in and out, and they had so much fun there was no complaing. We then did take a break for a snack and then jumped on the next tractor to take the kids out to the pumpkin patch they had such a great time picking there own pumpkins. We took we us Emilee's friend Jordan which was a blast!!! Emilee had Jordan to hang with and the boys they like to hang out togther. We spent the entire day there but we had a blast. We decided that this was going to be a tradition evey year. We finished our trip up by having dinner at the Iceberg, pumpkin shakes was the monthly special great for me my favorite. After dinner we took a drive by the temple we were all so dirty we didn't stop and go in, but the kids enjoyed seeing it all lite up. We then headed home and we all cleaned up and headed stright to bed.

Visiting Teaching I have to say that I have the worlds two best visiting teachers, any one could ask for. They always have very inspirational messages, and I always feel the spirit here when they give there lesson's. They are not the type of people to get and out and be done. They are truly wonderful people. Who are not only my visiting teachers but I'm lucky enough to call them my Friends. I love when they come and visit and hate to see them go. I have to just say thank you for all you do and the joyful spirit your bring here.

Ice Skating Future Gold Medalist

My ice skater's Emilee sure has found her calling she is a natural. She is moving level's faster than I can keep up. She now can do spins, jumps and turns.

The true love of my life....

Back and frustrated

You'd think after two surgeries and putting my family through a cray life. It's still not over... Yes your reading right not over. Now I get to go in and have my nerves deadened and cauterized sounds like loads of fun. This was suppose to all go down Monday but now it's pushed back until Monday the 13 th. Another week of pain and misery. When will this be over? I can't believe I still have problems. And not knowing the extent of the procedure I have No idea how to prepare my family. I'm going to go crazy, if that is possible.

Well to start we had our first injury and stitches with boys it probable wont be the last, with boys. But we made it.

Welcome I should say, this is going to fun for me and the family. One to keep up with our friends and family, near and far. I will be calling on some of my friends for help so beware. We Mitton's are doing well. For those of you who don't know Luke cut his finger and had to go to the Emergency Room for the first with one of the boys. We had to get the dreaded stitches, 6 of them. After that it was one HUGE ordeal. His finger was wrapped to tight and when it swelled and it did it cut off circulation. He begged for us to cut off the bandage after we were told to wait. But he cried so hard Rod and I changed the bandage and too our surprise it was 5 times it's normal size. The original cut was black and has goo coming from it. Saved by our Sister Genie we took him back, it was infected and we had to be transported to another hospital. Needless to say Luke and I got to ride in an ambulance, spent 5 nights there. Yippie... Had a hand surgeon, his pediatrician, dermotologist, Wound Care team, and finally a Infectious Diease Doctor all while we were there. Didn't like first hand doc got rid of him and found new hand doc loved him( he is rhe team doc for the local hockey team here) he was able in 20 min's to figure out blood circulation had been cut off. After we were told he had an allergy to neosproin, and he had a staph infection, and may need hand surgery to save the tip of his finger. All was avoided he was put on oral med's wound care showed us how to take care of his finger and we spent one last night in the hospital to make sure med's worked and we were comfrotable. They let us go home. It was a grand day. Mind you my kids Jacob and Emilee were with our great friends the Kendall's a few night's and at home a few night's but with Emilee in school, Jacob was with Tashina and her boys loved it swimming all day. It was a trying week on all of us. We saw the hand surgeon a few days after being home said things were looking great. But now came the hard job pulling off all the dead dried skin. Which Luke pulled off all by himself and had dad or I cut it. Nad to our surprise yesterday the dead tip where he cut it fell off and now has a very little scar. Finger is down to normal size still a little red but look's 100% better. We are glad to have that behind us now.

HELP!!! I need major help with this blog I want to do all kinds of cute things pictures Tashina talked me into this and now I need
help desperate anyone who has the time to come over or call me and help me I would love it. I have a great Nikon D80 with ton's of pictures help me upload them so i can stay up with the times. Thanks a bunch Laurie
Well I officially got them off and running to school. Emilee in 3rd grade and loving every minute of it and Luke know in PRESCHOOL! He made it through his first day, just like Emilee he's testing the waters. But I know he will do just great. This is a big year for us Emilee is getting Baptized this Saturday on her birthday how cool is that!!!! The fun all begins at 4:00 at the Stake Center, we are the last ward, so if you want to come and welcome the newest member of the "Mitton family" please do so. I know Rod and I would love to see all our friends from near and far be there. She's getting pretty excited that's just about all she can talk about.

with Luke and Emilee gone in the mornings Jacob doesn't exactly know what to do with him self. He asked me this morning "where's Lukie" I said at school. He looked up at me puzzled and went along playing for a while more. And then came back and said" I miss Lukie when he come home." I wish I had a tape recorder going it was so cute. But I have to say it was almost too quite, What will I do when both boys are in school. Luke kinder and Jacob preschool, and Emilee gone all day long. Just think my house will be spotless for a few hours and then come out the toys. But I will always love and cherish them,.

If you can make it to the Baptism our family would LOVE to see you there

Pure and trusting. You are a gentle soul who can get along with just about anyone. Everyone you meet instantly falls in love with you. How can they resist? You have a pure, lovable nature that's irresistable. Just don't trust everyone who comes across your path.

With two B's, two A's and one C, and excellent marks in everything else. We are so proud of her and she won Citzenship award at the end of the year. She is growing up so fast and will be baptizted in September on her birthday how exciting for us. Luke will be starting PreSchool this fall and got into an awesome program, I can't wait to see him excel. And Jacob my monkey is trying to potty train and us doing very well at it I hope by the end of summer he will have it down to a science. As for Rod and I we are doing great. Rod is acting Director of Finance with CCHA and I'm hoping he gets the jobs on a permenant basis. As for me I'm still with Albertson's just, and I only work three days a week and and get to be home the rest of the week.
