Emilee is in her last few weeks of school, and she is ready to be done. Jacob is crazy as always....he follows his brother's lead. There are all so excited for summer vacation this year. As most of you know we our going on a cruise. Down to the Caribbean- this is a Christmas present from my parents. 10 days of fun in the sun. We all can't wait..

Life is Busy

Wow..........I don't know even where to start. I guess I will start with Emilee- wow she is having a blast playing softball. And she's really good they usually play her at shortstop but she loves playing catcher. Go figure- the only thing I can think of is, she has action at every play. She's a very talented batter, just ask her little brother Jacob who is living proof. Yep, Jacob's nose was the product of how great a hitter Emilee is. She was practicing off the tee when she accidently hit Ja in the nose. Amazing he did not cry he was so worried about his blood, there was a lot of it. I didn't know if it was his mouth or his nose. Stinks foe him that it was his nose, poor kidit would have to be his nose. I ran him to Urgent Care and two x-ray's later a major bruise but not broken. Rod insisted that I take pictures- he said " it's cool he will be so proud when he gets older." It must be a guy thing. That weekend when we were out and bout you should of seen the looks we got. But no one asked. Now it hs been just about three weeks and, there is hardly any brusing left. He is such a trooper. Luke just turned five I can't beleive it- he will start school this August. Had to take him for his school immunizations no fun 5 later. I had to hold the poor kid down, it was so sad he kicked and screamed. But now he's ready for kindergaden round up. Two in school the time goes way to fast. Now if I can figure out how to put pic's on the new computer- I can upload the pic's of Jacob's nose.

It's been a BUSY week for us, on Monday Jacob had to go have bloood work done for his procedure on Thursday. They got it on the first try, we were all glad for that. Tuesday was back to school and work, as you know I work at Mojave there is always something CRAZY never a dull moment. Wednesday we had to go pre-register Ja that was fun I had to go after school, with all three kids loads of fun. I love my children but taking them to a hospital for any period of time is no fun. Then we ran around getting the two older kids ready for school and daycare it was aalomost midnight before I got to bed. Then it was already 5am we had to be at the hospital at 6:30. It wasn't too horrible until they had to pull Ja from my hand, to take him to the OR. He cried until we couldn't hear him anymore. They went through his little nose down to him lungs and had to make sure that the famous bead was not there. There was no bead thank goodness for us, we were so happy. He had such a hard time waking up, but I suppose that is to be expected. He came home and we all feel asleep until it was time to get Emilee from school. Finally on Saturday rod and I got to do our Valentines Day after softball practice. We went to the Rebel Game against BYU love BYU but support the home town team. After UNLV beat BYU in a sweap we went to dinner, it was so nice to get out just the two of us. Although Rod left his cell phone at home and Em called us 4-5 times nd figured out how to text. I think we had 8 text messages from her. But it was still really nice.

A long CRAZY Month

Ok, when I tell you ll this your going to have to take a double take. Jacob the three year old stuck a plastic bead up his nose, he cried so hard when Rod went to look it disappeared. So doctor said don't worry it should pass, ok but no it was still in his nose causing him to keep getting sick. Doctor ordered x-rays could see a blockage, went to ENT doctor he tried blowing it out no luck there. They sent us to the lung doctor- Jacob is now going in for a bronchoscope on Thursday the 19th to see if the bead is down in the lung if it is try to fish it out. I know it's crazy........But this will pass.
Emilee also started softball three weeks ago, she's loving it of course her dad and I are way into it. She's probably got the most excited parents on the team, but this is something we both love playing. So of course her dad has done his research on bats for her age and now she has two. She willhave her first game next month twice a week. She's like her dad needing a batting glove Mittons there "wimps" j/k. But her brothers love trying to play catch with her. we have had only one accident Luke got hit in the chin cried for a few minutes and was good. But after cutting his finger last year pain is nothing for him anymore.
We finally decided on airfare for our cruise in July the kids are super excited to fly and get on the boat. Acutually we all can't hardly wait. Now we just have to get our Passports and then were good to go.

January

Well it's almost come and gone, I can't believe it I hope the year the rest it doesn't go this fast. The family is doing well, we've been sick most of this month. But for excitement Jacob stuck a bead up his nose, Rod went and saved the day. He went on his lunch to check him out, he got there and took a look at it and all the crying made it disappear. Had to make a call to the doctor his first question this wasn't Luke who cut his finger I replied with no. It's the youngest one, he told us what to look for and what to watch for. So here it is two weeks later and he got a horrible runny nose, just what he said to watch for. So today we went to the doctor, no bead that they could see. So were crossing are finger's that it all better which I'm sure that it will be. Luke is learning how to write his last name, and all his numbers he loves Preschool. Emilee is doing really well in school, we just got her Progress report four B's and one C that's almost a B. Were so proud of all our kids, they are the whole world and hope they continue to succeed. Rod and I our so glad to parents.

New Years

WOW another year has come so fast..... We had a blast we went to Russ and Michelle's did snack foods all night played games and rang in the New Year. All the kids stayed up the entire night, we celebrated a small get together for Jacob and Kelsey's birthday. Since they share the same birthday. Jacob got some more toys and a few new movies. SpongeBob is his favorite. Next weekend we will celebrate Jacob's birthday with my side of the family. My parents got SURPRISE they had 5 new puppies tonight. Well we hope this year is good for all of us and your family.

Merry Christmas

Well we made it through Christmas. Thank goodness for the man Rod he did all the wrapping and putting together he was up until 4:30 as was I crying that I was misreable. It was so bad Rod had to give me a blessing. I'm so lucky for such a great husband. Thanks Rod for not disappointing the kids. For the kids it was wonderful, they all got what they wanted and more. As for me one week later I'm finally feeling better, I was sick from Christmas Eve until New Years Eve. It sucked for me, I had to go to the doctor on Friday when Quick Care was open. I was so dehydrated had to have an IV no fun. I watched the kids open there presents Christmas morning and went straight back to bed. I felt horrible I never want to be sick again over the holidays. Well to give a peek into what the kids got...
***Emilee a Razor motor scooter which she loves, a Karokee machine, webkins, clothes she said she got everything she wanted, two pairs of skinny jeans her favorite, and her first Aeropostale sweat shirt she can finally wear a small.
***Luke raked in the tanks and the G.I Joes, he got his first PSP from Santa which he loves, he also got some clothes and his first webkins. He was happy.
***Jacob loves tractors he got a riding pedal tractor with a bucket on the front and one on the back. He also got a few more tractors, and Cars toys which is favorite movie we've gone through three. And he has his birthday on New Years Eve so who knows how much more he will get.
****Rod and I made a deal that we were buying a camcorder and a laptop for Christmas but of course we both bought each other something. But we wanted a nice Camera to take on our Cruise yes... my parents bought us cruise tickets for the 5 of us were going to the Carribean so exciting. Wasn't a suprise we have known since last May but it still a cool gift my siblings and there spouse's are also going.
We usually make the rounds to both sets of parents but with me being so sick we stayed home, Rod's mom and dad came out Friday and gave the kids and I our gifts. More toys for the kids, Rod and I got some pretty cool things. We still have to go to my parents we hope to get over there tomorrow.

Thanksgiving Day

As for Thanksgiving it was great we were all exhausted when it all done and over with. First to my mom and dad's where my mom had all 3 kids home with there spouse's. I can't remember when that happened. It was so much fun, lots of food, and then over to the Man's mom and dad where all his brother's and sister's wher there, tons of food again. But with a two major course within a 45 min period we had no holding back. I kids did but the Man and I didn't, for the fact each mom makes a favorite that we only get at Thankagiving. It made for a long day but well worth it. Seeing both of our families was just awesome. And isn't that what it's all about. We are so blessed to have family here in town. During the holidays more so I miss my dad & his 2nd half in Idaho, my mom in Oregon, my two sets of Grandparents in Idaho, and my sister's in Idaho and Arizona. I keep telling the Man one of these years we need to go Arizona and to Idaho and whereever my mom the traveling nurse lands on her feet. I did make the round of calls to them all that I could. But wheither near or far it's about family and letting them know we love and care about them deeply with all the love we can. We love our family all of them and wish we could spend every Holiday with them, but we can't we do what we can, too all of those who have family with them or far away

Black Friday

Yep, I did it I got up at 3:00am to go shopping and be at Kohls at 4:00. I met with my mother in law, my 2 sister's in law's and, one of my nieces. We did a full day of shopping I finally got home at 3:30 so 12 hrs from the time I left. We hit Kohls, which had awesome sales got some great things, then over to Sam's yep thats right Sam's got the three things I needed. Then we jumped back into the car and ran over to Target Greatland the one at 215. Can I just say MAD HOUSE, wait let me say that again MAD HOUSE. That store was so insane, that was the one place I did not have a plan for but some how manged to walk out of the store with a basket full.

They had some awesome deals, last week our DVD player broke, they had an awesome deal on a Sony player which we needed. The boys were so excited when I brought that home they think that and the slipper's they got are all the bought today. But oh they really don't know. We did the mall that parking lot was a MAD HOUSE but the store's weren't too bad. Didn't get much there, and then took a small lunch break at Salad Creations which non of my family had been there. They thought it was great, then I ran over to Costco for one thing. Yes I got in and out with the one thing I went to get. That is a first for me. I even used the new self checks. Yes for those of you haven't been to Costco they now have I think 5 Self Check out's in and out, it was so fast. Then over to crazy Walmart, but low and behold it wasn't too bad. I have to pull all the things out and start marking list's of what I bought. Oh I almost forgot the best OLD NAVY where they had everything 50% off. I was able to score there for the kids. I looked at the back of my car and thought ok I got a good start forgetting one whole bag was work clothes for me. But no biggie. I hope since last weekend to put the tree, didn't get to it last week.

Oreo Passing

All Emilee wanted was a Hamster for her birthday. So Rod and I got her that, she was the cutest little thing, at first I didn't think it was such a great idea. But I went along with Rod, he's always been right about things with our kids. Emilee called her Oreo, Rod and I called her Hami the Hamburgerler. Especially when she would get out of of her cage. Which I still to this day don't know how she was getting out. On Thursday I did my rounds and checked to make sure she was still in her cage, she seemed really tired I didn't think anything about it. That night when I went to bed she was passed away.

I waited until Emilee got home from school on Friday, I didn't want her to go to school sad and crying. Which I knew what would happen. So Friday after school I broke the news to her. She was very upset, crying and crying. She called her friend Bailey and she asked her to come and play with her and Blake. They got together, planned a sleep over to help Em not be so sad. It worked for a little bit, then she was home a little after 9pm. So she came home and went start to bed. Today we had a little funeral for her, it was very hard for her. I was very sad to see my little girl upset. We had a prayer, and everyone said something nice about her, Em petted her one last time and we placed her into the ground with a small flower. The boys helped Em and her dad cover the hole and we placed some more flowers on top. Emilee went into the house and cried and wrote in her journal, we looked through the camera for pic's of her and were able to, and she was happy. We will go look for a new one next week. But it was sad to see her hurting. But she will get through it. Her dad explained that she was already in Heaven running around giving everyone a great laugh since she was such a cutie.

Goofing Off

Today I spent the day just goofing off with the boys & then worked on my blog changing it up a little. Getting ready for the next set of pain drillings into my back on Monday. If it work's like he said it should I will be jumping for joy if not I will be ready to give up. So since I won't be able to play with the kids Monday & maybe a few days later I want to take the next few days and goof off. I will still clean my house & run a few a errands but I wanna just play. Like tomorrow will pay with boys all day and Emilee after school & then "Girls Night" with my good friends to celebrate the birth of her 3rd little boy. And it's at the Cheesecake Factory & yes I don't need it but I will be having a piece of Pumkin Cheescake my favorite. Saturday Ice Skating lesson's & then hope to get the Christmas out & have family goofing around. Then Sunday church & a blessing from my wonderful hubby who, always has the spirit around him. And then dinner & hanging out with the kids. I plan on fully goofing around the next three days.

Halloween

Well we made it another year. The kids had so much fun. Emilee was Gaberilla from High School Musical 3, Luke was a Star Wars from the Clone Wars, & Jacob was a Race Car Driver from Monaco. They had a blast all there cousin's came out and went trick r treating with us. We had dinner and dressed all the kids and headed out the door, we made it around two blocks and the boys started complaining that there buckets were to heavy. So they had plenty of candy, Luke was the heaviest according to him. and we had a great announcement Ty and Heather found out what they were having. They are having baby number three, they will be having a little girl. Now Sadie will have a buddy. Since Ashton and Jacob are buddies. Now I'm ready to set up Christmas. Maybe I can get my hubby to start getting it out this Veterans Weekend. I didn't get any pic's before trick r treating but I got some after I just need to post them. All in all the kids had a great time!!!

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3 & First Crush

There was no way I could get out of taking Emilee to see the final movie for High School Musical. It was just the two of us last night, we had so much fun. There were only about 6 people there including us. We had a blast I have to agree with Em this was the best one by far. While out on our girls night I was able to confirm my thought that we may have our first crush. Yes, said it right Emilee has her first crush she is so cute when you bring up his name. She starts smiling from ear to ear & gets all jumpy. I have to say I'm not ready for this and neither is her dad, but the boy she likes is a great kid she couldn't have done any better. He goes to school & church with us, he's got great parents who we really like. It will just have to be play dates for the next 8 yrs. But it is so cute. I'd give up the name but she would be embarassed, & I won't do that to her.

Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze

Last weekend we took the kids up to St. Geroge to the Steli Farm right outside Washington City. The kids had a blast I did take lots of pic's I will get those up soon as I can. We had so much fun the kids rode horse tire swings, real swings like when we were kids, did the petting zoo. And then we decided to do the corn maze it took us 2hours to get in and out, and they had so much fun there was no complaing. We then did take a break for a snack and then jumped on the next tractor to take the kids out to the pumpkin patch they had such a great time picking there own pumpkins. We took we us Emilee's friend Jordan which was a blast!!! Emilee had Jordan to hang with and the boys they like to hang out togther. We spent the entire day there but we had a blast. We decided that this was going to be a tradition evey year. We finished our trip up by having dinner at the Iceberg, pumpkin shakes was the monthly special great for me my favorite. After dinner we took a drive by the temple we were all so dirty we didn't stop and go in, but the kids enjoyed seeing it all lite up. We then headed home and we all cleaned up and headed stright to bed.

Visiting Teaching I have to say that I have the worlds two best visiting teachers, any one could ask for. They always have very inspirational messages, and I always feel the spirit here when they give there lesson's. They are not the type of people to get and out and be done. They are truly wonderful people. Who are not only my visiting teachers but I'm lucky enough to call them my Friends. I love when they come and visit and hate to see them go. I have to just say thank you for all you do and the joyful spirit your bring here.

Ice Skating Future Gold Medalist

My ice skater's Emilee sure has found her calling she is a natural. She is moving level's faster than I can keep up. She now can do spins, jumps and turns.

The true love of my life....

Back and frustrated

You'd think after two surgeries and putting my family through a cray life. It's still not over... Yes your reading right not over. Now I get to go in and have my nerves deadened and cauterized sounds like loads of fun. This was suppose to all go down Monday but now it's pushed back until Monday the 13 th. Another week of pain and misery. When will this be over? I can't believe I still have problems. And not knowing the extent of the procedure I have No idea how to prepare my family. I'm going to go crazy, if that is possible.
